When Rudolf Larsfält came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Stardust Unicorns XI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Larsfält couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes, Stig-Arne Pihlberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stardust Unicorns XI and the Zero Hedge players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Stardust Unicorns XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Pihlberg to maneuver through the defense. Stardust Unicorns XI's Leif Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Dalström in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Zero Hedge were awarded a corner. Jan-Olof Hjortsberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Leif Berglund came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zero Hedge's Karl-Magnus Dalström. But to his dismay, Karl-Magnus Dalström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Konrad Ljungberg in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zero Hedge's Nils Eliasson. The supporters of Zero Hedge booed when Stardust Unicorns XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Jan-Olof Hjortsberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leif Berglund skillfully saved the ball. Leif Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Dalström, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Karl-Magnus Dalström took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leif Berglund. Leif Berglund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Leif Berglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Dalström in the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Berg was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Stardust Unicorns XI booed when Zero Hedge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Zero Hedge's Karl-Magnus Dalström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Leif Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The Zero Hedge fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Zero Hedge's Bertil Berg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zero Hedge's Bertil Åström was substituted for Bertil Berg. Zero Hedge made a substitution. Arman Sjögren replaced Alexander Johansson. In the 71st minute, Bo-Erik Billberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Stardust Unicorns XI's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Åström came free, but Leif Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adrian Rudqvist fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stardust Unicorns XI's protests and gave Adrian Rudqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute Rickard Bure suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Eliasson during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Zero Hedge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Lindsten came free, but Stefan Arenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Bo-Erik Billberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zero Hedge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stardust Unicorns XI the free kick. After 95 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Bo-Erik Billberg. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zero Hedge had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
