Zé Paulo da Silva scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Meninos De Cotia's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Hugo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Henrique Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lüder Roppel hit a great ball. After the first half Hertha 1969 were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
