Christian Almkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anfilogino Preda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Giorgio March made a huge save. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Pär Are, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Emilio Urbino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montechiarugolo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Montechiarugolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Urbino to maneuver through the defense. Daniele Bevilacqua kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anfilogino Preda got free with Giorgio March in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Giorgio March got control of the ball when Emilio Macchia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anfilogino Preda was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Lopez de Toro. Giorgio March made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Bevilacqua in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Preda came free, but Giorgio March reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Montechiarugolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Testi to maneuver through the defense. Christian Almkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Pär Are when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pär Are was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After 72 played minutes C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Del Piero. Pär Are showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 75th minute of the match. Alessandro Del Piero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pär Are read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 defense, Anfilogino Preda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giorgio March. The C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giorgio March should have stopped the shot. Giorgio March showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Mori, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 92nd match minute, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Roman to maneuver through the defense.
