Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Cazacu started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Daniel Cazacu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Cazacu came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Per-Oskar Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Tirant lo Blanch's Daniel Cazacu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulgencio Eyague was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Per-Oskar Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 25th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Peep Pronk managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Peep Pronk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Oskar Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulgencio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Cazacu in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC LeX Luthor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaizka Mendieta was slow to take the kick. During this time Tirant lo Blanch's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sebastián Reina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fulgencio Eyague quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 41 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Oskar Svensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Mario Yepes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gaizka Mendieta came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Tirant lo Blanch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaizka Mendieta couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peep Pronk was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Peep Pronk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC LeX Luthor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cazacu in the 60th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pancho Branca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Pancho Branca got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Gaizka Mendieta came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Tirant lo Blanch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaizka Mendieta couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Savion in the 68th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Aristide Ciuvică sped through Tirant lo Blanch's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Per-Oskar Svensson. Aristide Ciuvică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Oskar Svensson having to interfere. Tirant lo Blanch's Bernardo España was substituted for Ricardo Arias. Per-Oskar Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Savion in the 76th minute of the match. Zeledon Savion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Oskar Svensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Per-Oskar Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 79th minute of play. Per-Oskar Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Savion in the 83rd minute of play. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Jose Galtero replaced Godfredo Oriche. In the 87th minute Tirant lo Blanch were awarded a corner. García Diez went to the cornerflag to take it. If Pitin Vallejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Oskar Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Savion in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Zeledon Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC LeX Luthor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tirant lo Blanch for a fine match.
