When Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C.BARLAD's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Anísio Alagoano sped through F.C.BARLAD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sebastian Manafu. Eusebiu Frățilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Eusebiu Frățilă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrinho Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octav Ţintea during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Ţintea to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Manafu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Alagoano in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Umberto Dionísio made the kick off in the second half. Pedrinho Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Plopșor, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anísio Alagoano in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Manafu saved F.C.BARLAD from getting behind. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Fellipe da Silva hit a great ball. Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento was substituted for Anísio Alagoano. After taking down the ball on Castanheiro SC's corner Mauro Sarmento fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastian Manafu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Paul Albuț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castanheiro SC's Umberto Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The F.C.BARLAD players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Castanheiro SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
