A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Carl-Rune Emmenegger hit a great ball. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 7th minute of the match. Igor Czapski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Oardă having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Zübeyr came free, but Dinu Oardă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Mihăiţă Moisil threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Maci -MM-'s Demetrio Farese quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 25th minute, Rudolf Dombi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinu Oardă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes in the game Mădălin Bărbuceanu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mihăiţă Moisil. If Liviu Frumușanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Edwin 雷岩 came free, but Vladimir Kramnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the game Mădălin Bărbuceanu made a throw-in which Mihăiţă Moisil played forward. When Rudolf Dombi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Maci -MM-'s protests and gave Rudolf Dombi a yellow card for diving instead. Rudolf Dombi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Lucila to make the kick off. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Lucila in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Lucila in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Kramnik saved FC Maci -MM- from getting behind. Sami Zübeyr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinu Oardă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner. Carl-Rune Emmenegger went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 61st minute, Erman Uğuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinu Oardă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sami Zübeyr's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes, Liviu Frumușanu made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Rareș Ignea replaced Önder Wing. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Liviu Frumușanu put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vladimir Kramnik. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Lucila in the 75th minute of the match. Igor Czapski charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Czapski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Mihăiţă Moisil quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emanuel Petruescu, made in the 80th minute of the game. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Oprescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carl-Rune Emmenegger was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Maci -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Vlad Mavrogheni to score against Dinu Oardă in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal. 2-3 after 85 minutes. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 88th minute of the match. FC Maci -MM-'s Sabin Miclauș was substituted for Demetrio Farese. The FC Maci -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Maci -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
