George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Banciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Segio in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Özgür Özbay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alisson Becker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sulo Montaña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alisson Becker having to make a save. Alisson Becker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sulo Montaña in the 16th minute. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 24th minute of play. Özgür Özbay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alisson Becker firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 31st minute Franky Ooms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sulo Montaña got free with Alisson Becker in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The nice shot from Sulo Montaña in the 33rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Alisson Becker had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Buffalo Timişoara's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hamdi Ortan in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Buffalo Timişoara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan was slow to take the kick. During this time LOI's players had a chance to rest. Maxim Pintilie's late challenge caught a LOI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxim Pintilie helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Pintilie to maneuver through the defense. Buffalo Timişoara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Ahmet Hamdi Ortan scored to the left of an out of position Alisson Becker, making the score, 2-0. In the 42nd minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franky Ooms to make the kick off. LOI's Sulo Montaña got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vali Voicescu made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LOI's Hüseyin Cahit Gökdoğan. After 59 minutes of play, LOI's Sulo Montaña made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alisson Becker was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buffalo Timişoara's Bogdan Noworolnik was substituted for Albert Turdeanu. Buffalo Timişoara's Narcis Ichim was substituted for Vali Voicescu. Eriberto Segio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alisson Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Özbay in the 75th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Alisson Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 77th minute of the match. Narcis Ichim's late challenge caught a LOI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narcis Ichim helped the player get up and apologised. LOI's Kerimhan Cevher was substituted for Sulo Montaña. Buffalo Timişoara's Dorin Oravițan was substituted for Maxim Pintilie. In the 82nd minute, Narcis Ichim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Kerimhan Cevher made a precise shot to the right of Alisson Becker. Buffalo Timişoara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 88th minute of the match LOI got a corner. Buffalo Timişoara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Habib Durukan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Buffalo Timişoara's Alisson Becker did a great save. The LOI fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when LOI's Habib Durukan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 92 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, LOI's George Buturugã got control of the ball when Franky Ooms tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Franky Ooms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
