Ronnie Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fusk&Bygg AB. Ronnie Hellström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf Sundin's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Ralf Sundin took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronnie Hellström. Ronnie Hellström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Knut Rudberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Knut Rudberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ralf Sundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fusk&Bygg AB's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf Sundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralf Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf Sundin. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Sundin was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Kurt Hamrin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Tolsson skillfully saved the ball. In the 54th minute Ralf Sundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Skövde AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronnie Hellström should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Fusk&Bygg AB booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Rudberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes, Fusk&Bygg AB's Jan Sigfridsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fusk&Bygg AB reached it. Jerry Williams charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerry Williams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Jerry Williams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fusk&Bygg AB had won after a very even match.
