With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vince Di Cola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Qi in the 40th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Wu Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Samurai defense, Fernan Berart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Di Cola. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Wu Qi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. Marcus Ekrot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wu Qi's shot from short distance in the 57th minute.
