After a rather tough play, Dragões de Campo Grande's Bruninho Rodrigues got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jeferson Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Rodrigues in the 31st minute of the match. Charles Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jeferson Vides made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Charles Fonseca took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jeferson Vides to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Dragões de Campo Grande getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Charles Fonseca hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Valle to strike the kick off in the second half. Charles Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeferson Vides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. After 59 played minutes Dragões de Campo Grande got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Valle. Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Terra in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC BARCELONA's zone, Charles Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeferson Vides came out of the goal and Charles Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Charles Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Dragões de Campo Grande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Charles Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeferson Vides having to make a save. Dragões de Campo Grande's Raimundo Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, Dragões de Campo Grande's Raimundo Valle made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeferson Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Valle to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Dragões de Campo Grande could leave the field as winners, despite FC BARCELONA having more of the ball for most of the match.
