The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Ekain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Morata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhami Akyazıcı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Jax might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diki Doro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Jax ran back to his position shaking his head. Diki Doro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Olov Ahlbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The throw-in from Bernard Zielinski in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Petre Iftode. 15 minutes into the match, Martin Jax notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro. Diki Doro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Martin Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diki Doro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Jax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Martin Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diki Doro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GERLIROJO Ψ's Elvio Ferrer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diki Doro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zhao Sen Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Juan Morata made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Zhao Sen Yang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Morata. The goal made the score 1-1. Stasio Bienienda hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zhao Sen Yang was the one to do the kick off. GERLIROJO Ψ's Juan Morata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 53rd minute of play. Juan Morata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in GERLIROJO Ψ's zone, İlhami Akyazıcı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Morata came out of the goal and İlhami Akyazıcı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 67th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Juan Morata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Epifanio Ibañez replaced Martin Jax. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by GERLIROJO Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olov Ahlbeck was slow to take the kick. During this time Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Juan Morata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Grau in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute Primitivo Grau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Morata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Grau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Juan Morata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Eulalio Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. GERLIROJO Ψ's Juan Morata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Morata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Emil Wielopolski. If Zhao Sen Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

There was no doubt that Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were the better team. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
