Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mieszko Pankowski started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Jakub Kuszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofil Zywiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match Zdzislaw Rydzewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teofil Zywiec skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 6th minute of play forced Fc Lajkonik78's goalkeeper Teofil Zywiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes U21 Poland got a freekick which was hit by Igor Andrychowski. Edward Odachowski made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gustaw Furgat. Fc Lajkonik78's Gustaw Furgat got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofil Zywiec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teofil Zywiec came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski. But to his dismay, Witold Bycofski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Witold Bycofski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofil Zywiec. Fc Lajkonik78's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Bycofski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Witold Bycofski managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Poland's supporters rose to their feet, but Witold Bycofski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofil Zywiec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, U21 Poland's André Onana got control of the ball when Mieszko Pankowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witold Bycofski in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofil Zywiec saved Fc Lajkonik78 from getting behind. In the 37thth minute of the game Witold Bycofski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Lajkonik78's Teofil Zywiec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 Poland were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Fc Lajkonik78's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zdzislaw Rydzewski took the corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakub Kuszczak to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Witold Bycofski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teofil Zywiec. That made the score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. If Mariusz Truskovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofil Zywiec made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Witold Bycofski sent off a good shot on target. Witold Bycofski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Teofil Zywiec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Witold Bycofski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofil Zywiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edward Odachowski during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Fc Lajkonik78 got a freekick which was hit by Edward Odachowski. In the 63rd minute of the match Zdzislaw Rydzewski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teofil Zywiec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jakub Kuszczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Teofil Zywiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Kuszczak in the 87th minute of play forced Fc Lajkonik78's goalkeeper Teofil Zywiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Jakub Kuszczak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teofil Zywiec. Jakub Kuszczak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Teofil Zywiec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Kuszczak's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The U21 Poland supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing U21 Poland would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
