Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) BVB 09's Iacob Vernescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When BVB 09's Iacob Vernescu in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AVAÍ F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 7th match minute, AVAÍ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Braga to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AVAÍ F.C. booed when BVB 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Manea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmyr Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Oliver Sharkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Teodoro Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Oliver Sharkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Walmyr Salles came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the AVAÍ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Salles couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iacob Vernescu in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 23 minutes, Iacob Vernescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVB 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iacob Vernescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iacob Vernescu in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Buffon saved AVAÍ F.C. from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Magalhães got free with Oliver Sharkin in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Vernescu in the 30th minute of play. Luizão Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Oliver Sharkin made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in BVB 09's zone, Mateus Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Sharkin came out of the goal and Mateus Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Vernescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Iacob Vernescu got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Walmyr Salles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oliver Sharkin, passed just outside the right post. Oliver Sharkin made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Juan Arantes sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Schipor, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luizão Dantas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Juan Arantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Sharkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Marin Maneas short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Marcos Buffon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. AVAÍ F.C.'s Luizão Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Josan to maneuver through the defense. Luizão Dantas took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Sharkin. Oliver Sharkin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. AVAÍ F.C.'s Ronaldinho Brito was substituted for Mateus Alves. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmyr Salles in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Sharkin saved BVB 09 from getting behind. Wilton Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Oliver Sharkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. Rubens Cabral replaced Juan Arantes. Iacob Vernescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Marcos Buffon made a huge save. Luizão Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Oliver Sharkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marin Manea came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the BVB 09 fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Luiz Pombal got a free kick in the 86th minute. Lucian Josan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliver Sharkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Salles in the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to BVB 09 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Codruț Filimon hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Luiz Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. AVAÍ F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Sharkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronaldinho Brito struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Oliver Sharkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AVAÍ F.C.. AVAÍ F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BVB 09 for a fine match.
