The supporters of Berserkers FC Ψ booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, John Joneschat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Juan Ignacio Circelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Ignacio Circelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Berserkers FC Ψ. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Olivedos's Valdo Dantas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Dantas in the 27th minute of the match. If Juan Ignacio Circelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Tony Schmidt. The supporters of Olivedos booed when Berserkers FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Lluterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Ignacio Circelli to make the kick off. Olivedos were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Berserkers FC Ψ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisinho Ceresso took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Rubinho Chaves managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Berserkers FC Ψ's Cipriano Munhoz was substituted for Juan Ignacio Circelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Dantas in the 60th minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
