Inocencio Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Medina in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Ciceron was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Carmelo Gorka in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Reconquistense FC's Pascual Elivareo. Pascual Elivareo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Angelo Ciceron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piara Tittarelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Piara Tittarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reconquistense FC's Gabriel Milito was substituted for Oliver Laur. In the 68th minute, Prospero Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Inocencio Oinatz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Ahlqvist went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Tomás Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Angelo Ciceron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Piara Tittarelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Piara Tittarelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Reconquistense FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
