Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Setara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barrie Emberson having to interfere. Leonard Setara kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Silvinho Pinheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barrie Emberson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Silvinho Pinheiro sped through Valiant F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Barrie Emberson. Barrie Emberson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Setara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrie Emberson came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by AMÉRICA F.C.'s Silvinho Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Silvinho Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Calixto in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barrie Emberson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to AMÉRICA F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Leonard Setara hit a great ball. Barrie Emberson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Setara in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barrie Emberson saved Valiant F.C from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Eulalio Calixto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Barrie Emberson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Eulalio Calixto made a precise shot to the right of Barrie Emberson. Valiant F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 38th match minute, Valiant F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zane Read to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Calixto, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Setara in the 41st minute of play forced Valiant F.C's goalkeeper Barrie Emberson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, AMÉRICA F.C.'s Moisés Camargo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barrie Emberson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Barrie Emberson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Calixto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eulalio Calixto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barrie Emberson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvinho Pinheiro in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Silvester Atkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valiant F.C's Barrie Emberson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Valiant F.C from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Silvinho Pinheiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Barrie Emberson, 0-9. Eulalio Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Setara came free, but Barrie Emberson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Eulalio Calixto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Barrie Emberson, passed just outside the right post. In the 59th play minute Silvinho Pinheiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Barrie Emberson. 0-10. Barrie Emberson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Calixto's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Leonard Setara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barrie Emberson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oséas Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Richardson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Leonard Setara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Barrie Emberson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Setara in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Leonard Setara managed to get in a good position for a shot. AMÉRICA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Setara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barrie Emberson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Silvinho Pinheiro put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Barrie Emberson. Eulalio Calixto hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Oséas Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Windsor, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Barrie Emberson made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Leonard Setara sent off a good shot on target. Valiant F.C's Barrie Emberson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Setara in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goalkeeper Barrie Emberson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvinho Pinheiro. Valiant F.C's Barrie Emberson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Setara in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Valiant F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Elding to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Calixto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barrie Emberson having to interfere. The Valiant F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AMÉRICA F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
