With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Li in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waud De Geyter saved Silver Squad AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Sticlaru in the 13th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Silver Squad AFC from getting a goal against them. Waud De Geyter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Van Caubergen came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silver Squad AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrik Ooms in the 24th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Damazy Radzyminski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waud De Geyter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Shi Li ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waud De Geyter was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Waud De Geyter made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Shi Li sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Loid De Keuster left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silver Squad AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loid De Keuster in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match Silver Squad AFC got a corner. Galati Harbour Cats's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrik Ooms ran over to the corner to take the kick. Izydor Czysta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the match clock showed 49 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Izydor Czysta sped through Galati Harbour Cats's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Octavian Soare. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shi Li made a kick off. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Sticlaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Shi Li sped through Silver Squad AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waud De Geyter. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 73rd minute of play. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Shi Li notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's Loid De Keuster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavian Soare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damazy Radzyminski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Soare having to interfere. With his leg Octavian Soare managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Silver Squad AFC's Damazy Radzyminski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd minute, Ştefan Sticlaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ovidiu Pandrea fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galati Harbour Cats's protests and gave Ovidiu Pandrea a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Ovidiu Pandrea got a free kick in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Silver Squad AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galati Harbour Cats.
