Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Chirculescu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álmos Kerékgyártó prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paralia Athens's Vasile Enciulescu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by János Horváth in the 26 minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Paralia Athens's Leonard Chirculescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 30th minute, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leonard Chirculescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Álmos Kerékgyártó proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Leonard Chirculescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Álmos Kerékgyártó, 2-1. After having played for 37 minutes, Kázmér Mónos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kázmér Mónos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrik Nagy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doru Apostu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Călin Vârlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álmos Kerékgyártó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Todericiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stelian Todericiu was the one to do the kick off. Jakab Jászberényi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Apostu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Chirculescu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álmos Kerékgyártó saved ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Doru Apostu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakab Jászberényi. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ionuț Marin hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Călin Vârlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Nagy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Patrik Nagy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Apostu came out of the goal and Patrik Nagy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doru Apostu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakab Jászberényi's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Leonard Chirculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralia Athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Chirculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
