When Ciaran McVinish fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored McNahas Clan FC's protests and gave Ciaran McVinish a yellow card for diving instead. Ciaran McVinish kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Mitt Bena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Tauro in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of McNahas Clan FC booed when Club Atlético Escocia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justin Tello didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, McNahas Clan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Caton came free, but Mitt Bena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Caton in the 27th minute of play forced McNahas Clan FC's goalkeeper Mitt Bena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 52 played minutes McNahas Clan FC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Wass. Marciano Caton, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. McNahas Clan FC's Mitt Bena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save McNahas Clan FC from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Cristo Ricart sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Mitt Bena threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Cristo Ricart this time. After 65 minutes, Stelian Negru made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. McNahas Clan FC's Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat was substituted for Graeme Clerk. Many of Club Atlético Escocia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Club Atlético Escocia may have spent more time on the ball, but McNahas Clan FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
