Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Maiorga in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paris Gontzos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arne Rusterholz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Galnares, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes Re Loco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Fernandes who took care of the corner kick. 11 minutes into the match, Re Loco's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Cesario came free, but Arne Rusterholz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Rusterholz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gonzalo Fresco could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Paris Gontzos however easily saved by the left post. Paris Gontzos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateusz Sakowicz in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Fresco got free with Paris Gontzos in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Castelar Sur S.F. were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Re Loco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bruno Fernandes took the corner. Re Loco's Arne Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Fernandes in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Euloxu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Rusterholz saved Re Loco from getting behind. Mateusz Sakowicz scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paris Gontzos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elias Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Castelar Sur S.F.'s Elias Euloxu in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Maiorga to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Mateusz Sakowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Gontzos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paris Gontzos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Sakowicz in the 54th minute of play. Arne Rusterholz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Euloxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Castelar Sur S.F.'s Arne Rusterholz threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bruno Fernandes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruno Fernandes was slow to take the kick. During this time Castelar Sur S.F.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Re Loco's goalie and right to Roberto Musko. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Re Loco's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mateusz Sakowicz struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Paris Gontzos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Re Loco. After 84 played minutes Re Loco got a freekick which was hit by Poli Valente. The audience was convinced that Celso Lalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paris Gontzos was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
