Pepino’s's goalkeeper Ferrán Suarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Indalecio Segura. Isidoro Blanchetau might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Fonticoba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Blanchetau ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonzalo Fonticoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Raffo in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romualdo Hetz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Los once leones Ourense booed when C.D. Pepino’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Lucian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fagondo Huarte struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ferrán Suarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los once leones Ourense. In the 53rd match minute, C.D. Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Indalecio Segura came free, but Ferrán Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Celada kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. C.D. Pepino’s made a substitution. Osvaldo Weisser replaced Teodosio Estévez.

C.D. Pepino’s played a much better game than Los once leones Ourense and deserved their victory. The Los once leones Ourense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
