After 13 minutes of play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Keenan Worthington made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Enmanuel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Arthur Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave Arthur Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. Arthur Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Chapui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Sidro in the 21st minute of the match. When Racing Miami Futbol Club's Arthur Sousa in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Keenan Worthington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Enmanuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Racing Miami Futbol Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Quincy Walker hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 40th minute of the game was made by Ignacio Abad with Salvador Endura as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 42 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Ian Chapui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Sidro. Lorenzo Enmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keenan Worthington, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Phil Vine got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Clemente Goyo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Chapui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 57 minutes, Saverio Cordeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Ayuntamiento CF and the Racing Miami Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Real Ayuntamiento CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Lorenzo Enmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Worthington in the 58th minute of play. Quincy Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keenan Worthington in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Enmanuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Roberto Soldado was substituted for Keenan Worthington. Ignacio Abad made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Quincy Walker. Clemente Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Lorenzo Enmanuel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 84 minutes into the match, Roberto Soldado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Enmanuel. Real Ayuntamiento CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Soldado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 88th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Sousa to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes Real Ayuntamiento CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chu Zheng Yu who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalie and right to Quincy Walker. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Ayuntamiento CF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

The Racing Miami Futbol Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
