Robin Sharma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Emanuel Garin lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Robin Sharma had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Emrah Öztay's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karol Panasewicz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Faria in the 53rd minute of play forced Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's goalkeeper Yunus-Emre Balcik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Osmanlı İmparatorluğu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Osmanlı İmparatorluğu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
