Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) S. D. Águilas's Saul Txordon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niceto Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Herena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. 3 minutes into the match, S. D. Águilas's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ihazintu came free, but Americo Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Christian Lorien managed to get in a good position for a shot. S. D. Águilas's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Lorien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ergo Muro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Lorien. Niceto Ihazintu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Americo Herena having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, S. D. Águilas's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ihazintu came free, but Americo Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Caatiba MZC were awarded a corner. Gaby Milito went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Rodriguinho Linhares managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 23 minutes, Domingo Sidro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S. D. Águilas and the Caatiba MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes S. D. Águilas got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Sidro. In the 28thth minute of the game Niceto Ihazintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S. D. Águilas's Americo Herena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 30th minute of play forced S. D. Águilas's goalkeeper Americo Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Caatiba MZC were awarded a corner. Gaby Milito went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gaby Milito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S. D. Águilas's Americo Herena did a great save. The supporters of S. D. Águilas booed when Caatiba MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaby Milito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Americo Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 37th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Ihazintu in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Herena saved S. D. Águilas from getting behind. Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu managed to work through S. D. Águilas's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Niceto Ihazintu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Niceto Ihazintu took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Americo Herena to make any attempt to save it. Niceto Ihazintu didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-2 via right post in the game's 58th minute. Caatiba MZC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Domingo Sidro made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Caatiba MZC's Natã Siqueira. With a little luck, S. D. Águilas's Americo Herena got control of the ball when Niceto Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Niceto Ihazintu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Americo Herena. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 72nd match minute, S. D. Águilas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Nerio to maneuver through the defense. Caatiba MZC made a substitution. Nuno Mattos replaced Niceto Ihazintu. A collision led to S. D. Águilas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alvaro Nerio hit a great ball. Nuno Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Herena having to interfere. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 81st minute, when Caatiba MZC's Ezequiel Nunes after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Americo Herena in S. D. Águilas's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 82nd minute, Domingo Sidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodriguinho Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvaro Nerio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Caatiba MZC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
