Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Ljungberg to make the kick off. Kenny Anson scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gottfrid Pihlblad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by 乔南文 in the 67th minute of play forced Goo Goo Dolls's goalkeeper Phil Porter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 乔南文 got free with Phil Porter in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The FC Valkyria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gottfrid Pihlblad should have stopped the shot. Gottfrid Pihlblad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Anson in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Valkyria's Burak Tanyıldız got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 96 played minutes Goo Goo Dolls got a freekick which was hit by Matteo Gillis. Goo Goo Dolls's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
