The audience was convinced that Bogdan Utretskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Barovero was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Lobos de Carelia from getting a goal against them. When Gabriel Efraim came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Lobos de Carelia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Efraim couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 19th minute of play forced Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Eusebio Rios got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Gnaget United FC's Siro Benvido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Barovero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nils-Erik Källberg came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Lobos de Carelia's Zeca Fernandez. But to his dismay, Zeca Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Utretskiy in the 31st minute of play. Nils-Erik Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Efraim in the 32nd minute of the match. Zeca Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nils-Erik Källberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeca Fernandez scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Erik Källberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th match minute, Gnaget United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Utretskiy to maneuver through the defense. The Gnaget United FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lobos de Carelia were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Utretskiy to make the kick off. Mürsel Oruz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Lobos de Carelia's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okaner Dilşad in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Inguma got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gabriel Efraim was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Siro Benvido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Benvido came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Jonsson during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Gnaget United FC got a freekick which was hit by Carl Jonsson. In the 80th minute of the game Kennet Mårtensson made a throw-in which Wayne Rooney played forward. If Siro Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lobos de Carelia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
