The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Palloketut booed when Yokohama Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jussef Medjoudj didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Yokohama Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Rami Lehto came free, but Mahieddine Cohen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Yokohama Warriors's goalkeeper Mahieddine Cohen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rami Lehto. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Aarre Lajunen got a free kick in the 30th minute. Uljas Heinola hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The Palloketut players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yokohama Warriors were winning 0-1.

Aarre Lajunen hit a great ball. Lakhdar Meriem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jimi Nyrhinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teemu Valkealahti during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yokohama Warriors played a much better game than Palloketut and deserved their victory. The Palloketut players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
