Skånes stolthet!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Hydén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michal Dzierwa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Hydén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Håkan Hydén made a kick off. Ludwig Göransson made a great header on Skånes stolthet!'s corner, it was just that Cedynia's Michal Dzierwa managed to reach the ball for a save. Kalle Joelson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Tyszka in the 95th minute. August Ahlbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cedynia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
