After 17th play minutes Willard Addison shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Vitório de Salles and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Vitório de Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Jurand Tuborg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vitório de Salles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vitório de Salles came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Jacek Klawke. But to his dismay, Jacek Klawke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 29th minute, Emerson Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 30 in the game by Willard Addison from a close distance when the talented Vitório de Salles managed to make a qualified save. Mexilhão F. C.'s players were relieved. In the 31st minute, Willard Addison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rozbryzgane Rogale FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Jacek Klawke struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Vitório de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rozbryzgane Rogale FC. Vitório de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willard Addison in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Rozbryzgane Rogale FC booed when Mexilhão F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willard Addison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vitório de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willard Addison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório de Salles having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Jacek Klawke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Willard Addison to make the kick off. The Rozbryzgane Rogale FC fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Willard Addison looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Konrad Zachemski replaced Mehmet Emin Dalokay. In the 67th minute, Umberto Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 minutes, Nelsinho Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexilhão F. C. and the Rozbryzgane Rogale FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vitório de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Klawke, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Umberto Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Piotr Majerowicz made a huge save. In the 88th minute Willard Addison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo de Barros's late challenge caught a Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmo de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo de Barros. Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Willard Addison got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
