Nantwich's Denny Mullan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Volta in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in U.P. Gavellese's zone, André Fevang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Mazza came out of the goal and André Fevang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, André Fevang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessio Volta made a kick off. Bruno Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 林悦傲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U.P.
