Espen Granerud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Chao Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stefan Kapera sped through Club 23's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remus Vuia. 25 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Lönn came free, but Espen Granerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Vuia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Kapera in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Roman in the 33rd minute of play forced Club 23's goalkeeper Remus Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Liu Chao Xiao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Espen Granerud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Chao Xiao came free, but Espen Granerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Zăraşcu. Remus Vuia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Tamulewicz in the 41st minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liu Chao Xiao was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Hahay's Witalis Tamulewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remus Vuia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute of the match Hahay got a corner. Club 23's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stefan Kapera ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Hahay's corner Stefan Kapera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Remus Vuia quite easily take care of the ball. Niculae Cângea made a great header on Club 23's corner, it was just that Hahay's Espen Granerud managed to reach the ball for a save. Espen Granerud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Lönn in the 73rd minute of play. Club 23 made a substitution. Leonard Grindeanu replaced Ragnar Lönn. Club 23 made a substitution. Sergiu Panduru replaced Valeriu Toacsen. Hahay's Feliks Rykaczewski was substituted for Videl Pando. Club 23's Stelian Orescu was substituted for Niculae Cângea. If Liu Chao Xiao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Espen Granerud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Chao Xiao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match, Leonard Grindeanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Espen Granerud saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Espen Granerud made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Liu Chao Xiao sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Krzysztof Soroka in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club 23's Qu Yan Nan. 96 minutes into the match, Witalis Tamulewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remus Vuia. Club 23's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witalis Tamulewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club 23 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hahay.
