Hahay's Krzysztof Soroka managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lorenzo De Meyer in the 9 minute of the game. Witalis Tamulewicz hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Hahay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Lv Xiao Zhi scored to the left of an out of position Espen Granerud, making the score, 1-0. Gökmen Parshan charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökmen Parshan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gökmen Parshan kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Roncourt were awarded a corner. Thierry Lhermite went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Roncourt's Thierry Lhermite to fire away a dangerous shot which Espen Granerud despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Witalis Tamulewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mounir Perry read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roncourt's goalkeeper Mounir Perry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stefan Kapera made a great header on Hahay's corner, it was just that Roncourt's Mounir Perry managed to reach the ball for a save. Espen Granerud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Jimenez in the 28th minute of the match. Mounir Perry didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Kapera went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Roncourt defense, Witalis Tamulewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mounir Perry. The Roncourt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mounir Perry should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Tamulewicz in the 38th minute of play forced Roncourt's goalkeeper Mounir Perry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Roncourt's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Roman came free, but Mounir Perry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hahay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walery Roman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hahay made a substitution. Arkadiusz Walec replaced Walery Roman. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiusz Walec to make the kick off. Mounir Perry made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Arkadiusz Walec sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute of the match Hahay got a corner. Hahay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thierry Lhermite ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roncourt's Louison Bassot was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Espen Granerud in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 68th minute Lv Xiao Zhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Granerud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hahay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Marc Kazmierczak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hahay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
