In the 5th minute Melquiades Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dochko Rodev was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Adam Jansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adam Jansson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dochko Rodev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Griffin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 17 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Caruana. In the 19th minute of the match ÑOQUIS 29 FC got a corner. Seraċini Għawdxin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciro Loramendi ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Eulalio Lluis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 23rdth minute of the game Adam Jansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Dochko Rodev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Braulio Hodei took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ján Oblak. Ján Oblak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 32ndth minute of the game Braulio Hodei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seraċini Għawdxin's Ján Oblak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciro Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ján Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Loramendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Dochko Rodev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Song Wei Yun in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Song Wei Yun to make the kick off. Dochko Rodev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Pirlo. Dochko Rodev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 93 minutes into the game, ÑOQUIS 29 FC's Braulio Hodei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Seraċini Għawdxin.
