In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Atletico Guarulhos's goalkeeper Humberto Lastur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Clube Atletico Guarulhos's Rafa Mandrak got a free kick in the 11th minute. Sao Paulo Leste FC's Gernando Netto got his second yellow card of the match in the 13th minute. Clube Atletico Guarulhos's Humberto Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Cerezo in the 17th minute of play. Tommy Jadis kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Sao Paulo Leste FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. 胡岩振 struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hamílton de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atletico Guarulhos. Clube Atletico Guarulhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but 胡岩振 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clube Atletico Guarulhos's Arlindo Martins quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Falcão Moura, made in the 40th minute of the game. Arlindo Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. After 51 played minutes Sao Paulo Leste FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Arce. When Falcão Moura fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sao Paulo Leste FC's protests and gave Falcão Moura a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Clube Atletico Guarulhos booed when Sao Paulo Leste FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celsinho Cerezo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Humberto Lastur firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Rafa Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Clube Atletico Guarulhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Mandrak couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Mandrak in the 75th minute of play forced Sao Paulo Leste FC's goalkeeper Hamílton de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamílton de Lara came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atletico Guarulhos's 胡岩振. But to his dismay, 胡岩振 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Noel Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sao Paulo Leste FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Humberto Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamílton de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Mandrak in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sao Paulo Leste FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clube Atletico Guarulhos.
