Camilo Artaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin 雷鹰 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Edwin 雷鹰 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Dewulf in the 15th minute of the match. 陈广桑 struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Angelo Ugutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DongJiang Athletic Sports. In the 20th minute 陈广桑 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Ingelborgs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Países Bajos's zone, 郑希平 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Ugutz came out of the goal and 郑希平 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When 孟文晨 fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DongJiang Athletic Sports's protests and gave 孟文晨 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to DongJiang Athletic Sports getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. 孟文晨 hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Camilo Artaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin 雷鹰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DongJiang Athletic Sports's Carl Ingelborgs got a free kick in the 29th minute. Edwin 雷鹰 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Artaldo in the 30th minute of play. Edwin 雷鹰 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Tebaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edwin 雷鹰 came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Países Bajos's Peter Dewulf. But to his dismay, Peter Dewulf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Angelo Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Ingelborgs in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Países Bajos's goal looked a bit too open when 陈广桑 came free, but Angelo Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Países Bajos booed when DongJiang Athletic Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. 沈建剑 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Dewulf took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin 雷鹰. Edwin 雷鹰 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Países Bajos's Angelo Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 陈广桑 in the 57th minute of play. 郑希平 hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Camilo Artaldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Edwin 雷鹰 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edwin 雷鹰 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Dewulf went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in DongJiang Athletic Sports's zone, Dalmacio Tebaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin 雷鹰 came out of the goal and Dalmacio Tebaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Peter Dewulf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Países Bajos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The DongJiang Athletic Sports players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
