After 6 played minutes Astreix&ObelixSoccer got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Lemerond. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damián Åkerman got free with Ian Little in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santiago Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Jump in the 10th minute of the match. INTER de Córdoba's Genaro Tauro got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Ian Little proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Astreix&ObelixSoccer from getting a goal against them. Santiago Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Jump, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jasper Jump sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, INTER de Córdoba's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Jump came free, but Santiago Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Damián Åkerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Little saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damián Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Little having to interfere. Santiago Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Jump in the 33rd minute of play. INTER de Córdoba's Damián Åkerman got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Little made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damián Åkerman in the 39th minute. Daniel Lemerond kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Martin Zafiu charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Zafiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, INTER de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Zafiu to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Andre Crooks dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santiago Torres, 0-2. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Astreix&ObelixSoccer would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
