Eliseu Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Eliseu Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Erik Ahlbom went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Leonel Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 minutes, Karl-Erik Ahlbom made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Meninos do Morro F.C's Eliseu Sanches tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute Nils-Åke Broberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Meninos do Morro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Löv came free, but Eliseu Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Öman in the 40th minute of play forced Meninos do Morro F.C's goalkeeper Eliseu Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliott Samuelsson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Dráuzio Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meninos do Morro F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Hernström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dadá Soares made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Nils-Åke Broberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Eliseu Sanches however easily saved by the left post. After 53 played minutes Meninos do Morro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luan Vale. Maurinho Tróia hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Karl-Erik Ahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallboda Gunners's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Erik Ahlbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, Meninos do Morro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Tróia to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Åke Broberg got free with Eliseu Sanches in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils-Åke Broberg scored 0-6 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Meninos do Morro F.C's Durvalino de Lima got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Meninos do Morro F.C's goalkeeper Eliseu Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Åke Broberg. Arvin Öman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Eliseu Sanches made a huge save. A hard shot 71 in the game by Nils-Åke Broberg from a close distance when the talented Eliseu Sanches managed to make a qualified save. Meninos do Morro F.C's players were relieved. Meninos do Morro F.C's Eliseu Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Ahlbom in the 96th minute of play. The Tallboda Gunners supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tallboda Gunners would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
