After having played for 3 minutes, Marcu Dobrin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G A I S's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcu Dobrin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaj Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zavior Moiselo in the 10th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Baba Baba came free, but Kaj Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmanuel Stroh during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 minutes, Cléber Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G A I S and the Stowe City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Stowe City booed when G A I S was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes G A I S got a freekick which was hit by Washington Andrade. Johnathan Haynes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 39 minutes of play, G A I S's Matthias Bern made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaj Helström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Matthias Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Kaj Helström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stefan Wahlström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Washington Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes Stowe City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herman Källberg who took care of the corner kick. Johnathan Haynes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Stefan Wahlström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Kaj Helström made a huge save.
