Doriva Jacintos short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Baldomiro Isadore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aurel Mușetescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ginyo Petrinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomiro Isadore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Addison in the 18th minute. Baldomiro Isadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Desqladores's Baldomiro Isadore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington de Andrade in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Angelino Cordarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desqladores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Cordarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 25 played minutes Excelência de Luxe got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Seco. If Doriva Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Desqladores getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Severo Kiliz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Doriva Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Excelência de Luxe's supporters rose to their feet, but Doriva Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Isadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Excelência de Luxe's Doriva Jacinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomiro Isadore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Desqladores's goalie and right to Washington de Andrade. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Desqladores's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Excelência de Luxe booed when Desqladores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Gartzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Desqladores's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonardo Seco was slow to take the kick. During this time Excelência de Luxe's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Excelência de Luxe's Leonardo Seco to fire away a dangerous shot which Baldomiro Isadore despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd match minute, Excelência de Luxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Batista to maneuver through the defense. Aurel Mușetescu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Angelino Cordarin. Doriva Jacinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Isadore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Baldomiro Isadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Excelência de Luxe's Ademar Damião was substituted for Alfred Addison. Desqladores were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Excelência de Luxe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angelino Cordarin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Angelino Cordarin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurel Mușetescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68thth minute of the game Doriva Jacinto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desqladores's Baldomiro Isadore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ginyo Petrinski got free with Aurel Mușetescu in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baldomiro Isadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Jacinto in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doriva Jacinto in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Isadore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Doriva Jacinto sped through Desqladores's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baldomiro Isadore. Excelência de Luxe made a substitution. Wellington Nunes replaced Doriva Jacinto. Excelência de Luxe's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
