In the 8th minute Malcom Drew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Väckelsång IK's Charlie Chaplin got control of the ball when Niles Crane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaj Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Lundström in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Väckelsång IK's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Stroh came free, but Charlie Chaplin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Chaplin made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Matt Briggs sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonas Šidlauskas in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaj Helström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Stroh notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Väckelsång IK's Charlie Chaplin. Charlie Chaplin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emmanuel Stroh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Carl Thidén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaj Helström. Stowe City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Thidén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Stowe City's Kaj Helström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Stowe City from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Väckelsång IK's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Bingham came free, but Charlie Chaplin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Carl Thidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Niles Crane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Chaplin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Chaplin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niles Crane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Väckelsång IK's Charlie Chaplin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Bingham in the 80th minute of play. A hard shot 83 in the game by Malcom Drew from a close distance when the talented Kaj Helström managed to make a qualified save. Stowe City's players were relieved. In the 85th minute Väckelsång IK were awarded a corner. Leonas Šidlauskas went to the cornerflag to take it. Väckelsång IK's Leonas Šidlauskas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kaj Helström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 87 minutes Stowe City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonas Šidlauskas who took care of the corner kick. In the 89th match minute, Väckelsång IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvester Stallone to maneuver through the defense. Väckelsång IK's Malcom Drew got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charlie Chaplin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Stroh, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Väckelsång IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
