In the 9th minute Gustavo Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Matorin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evandro Maia. After 20 played minutes, AS Pikachuzim's Ulisses Teixeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdo de Queirós came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AS Pikachuzim reached it. 31 minutes into the game, Wilton Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Pikachuzim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Os 11 garotos the free kick. The supporters of Os 11 garotos booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilton Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo de Queirós having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Maia in the 40th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evandro Maia hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Os 11 garotos's William Cunha got a free kick in the 44th minute. Valdo de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. If Gilvan Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdo de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denílson Arantes took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdo de Queirós. Valdo de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 69 minutes, Ulisses Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Pikachuzim and the Os 11 garotos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ulisses Teixeira hit a great ball. Pedro Luiz Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Souza in the 71st minute of the match. Valdo de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Rodolfo Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Os 11 garotos's Gustavo Souza got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute of the match Wilton Carneiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdo de Queirós skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AS Pikachuzim's Denílson Arantes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valdo de Queirós. That made the score 0-3 after 77 minutes of play. Valdo de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. AS Pikachuzim were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Os 11 garotos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilton Carneiro took the corner. After 86 played minutes Os 11 garotos got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Fernandez. 87 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's Wilton Carneiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 91 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Teixeira. The AS Pikachuzim players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
