Tomás Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Brodel came free, but Rômulo de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Naohiro Takahara managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's supporters rose to their feet, but Naohiro Takahara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rômulo de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Hong Køng. Róbson Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's goalkeeper Carlinhos Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Róbson Prata. Claudinei Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinei Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rômulo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naohiro Takahara in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Óskar Aspfors who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rômulo de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rômulo de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óskar Aspfors in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Alberto Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise players grew even worse after the yellow card. Óskar Aspfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rafinha Sergipano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's Romário Romero got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Óskar Aspfors stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rômulo de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naohiro Takahara, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 72nd match minute, ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Tasso to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Branco. Rômulo de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Siqueira in the 81st minute of play. Romário Romero took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rômulo de Almeida. Rômulo de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 94 minutes into the game, Falcão Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Carlinhos Vieira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
