Ivo Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro in the 31st minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Denílson Arantes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivo Ramalho. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denílson Arantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Souza in the 58th minute of play. After 70 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Richard Madureira. Denílson Arantes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. AS Pikachuzim's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Denílson Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Pikachuzim's supporters rose to their feet, but Denílson Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo Ramalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 84 played minutes Imbituba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Mattos. In the 87th minute, AS Pikachuzim's Denílson Arantes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Pedro Luiz Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Vieira in the 92nd minute of the match. The Imbituba - FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AS Pikachuzim's performance. The match ended with a win for AS Pikachuzim.
