Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Jesse Lingard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Costa in the 47th minute of play forced Jung 72's goalkeeper Lisandro Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lisandro Ihintza came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos. But to his dismay, Dariusz Wos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 53 minutes into the game, Dariusz Wos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Aldo Di Carlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Ihintza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Aldo Di Carlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Lisandro Ihintza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jung 72's Lisandro Ihintza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ikars Zurpēvics in the 75th minute of play. A.C. Patagonia were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Jung 72's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Nóbrega took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rafael Nóbrega got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lisandro Ihintza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, A.C. Patagonia's Nils Støle got control of the ball when Gaztea Regalado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandro Ihintza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Jung 72 made a substitution. Aaron Swiggers replaced Telmo Moraes. 93 minutes into the game, Aldo Di Carlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Lisandro Ihintza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.C. Patagonia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jung 72 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
