Pedro Luiz Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ronny Rudø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep. Morón 1947's goalkeeper Jack Nicholson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's zone, Stanislaw Siedlecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Quentin came out of the goal and Stanislaw Siedlecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Virgilio Quentin made a huge save. Jack Nicholson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merten Münch in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Merten Münch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jack Nicholson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Azeari was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Luiz Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Nicholson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Merten Münch might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jack Nicholson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Luiz Arantes might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jack Nicholson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Luiz Arantes ran back to his position shaking his head. Dep. Morón 1947's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Merten Münch scored to the left of an out of position Jack Nicholson, making the score, 1-4.
