In the 2nd match minute, MACUMBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Kaiet to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Feliciano Jaen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tage Pålsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tage Pålsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. MACUMBA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Luiz Ceresso in the 11th minute. Kurt Janiš kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Feliciano Jaen sped through FC Patov's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tage Pålsson. Manga Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viliam Schenk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Patov were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after MACUMBA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lennart Svanström took the corner. Lennart Svanström made a great header on FC Patov's corner, it was just that MACUMBA's Manga Santos managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 26th minute Feliciano Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tage Pålsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tage Pålsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliciano Jaen went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Kurt Janiš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Manga Santos made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Jaen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tage Pålsson was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. In the 48th minute, Vivaldo Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tage Pålsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half MACUMBA were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Feliciano Jaen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tage Pålsson. Feliciano Jaen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. MACUMBA's Feliciano Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, MACUMBA's Vivaldo Paes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tage Pålsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 68th minute, Viliam Schenk made a precise shot to the right of Manga Santos. MACUMBA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Tage Pålsson stood somewhat misplaced when Feliciano Jaen came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Feliciano Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kurt Janiš took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manga Santos. Manga Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. FC Patov's Generoso Papon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manga Santos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rodriguinho de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes, FC Patov's Lennart Svanström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manga Santos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Patov reached it. Feliciano Jaen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Tage Pålsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
