Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olimpiu Dragnea in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manga Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Goo Goo Dolls fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olimpiu Dragnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manga Santos having to interfere. Manga Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Lane in the 28th minute of play. Manga Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Anson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 46th minute Kenny Anson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manga Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Vivaldo Paes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Goo Goo Dolls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Ball to maneuver through the defense. Suphi Tanbek was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, one of MACUMBA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 62nd match minute, Goo Goo Dolls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Anson to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, MACUMBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Viana to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MACUMBA's Vivaldo Paes got a free kick in the 77th minute. Barry Roy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manga Santos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Manga Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Dragnea, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
