Despite this Jeremy Nicholas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roman Major got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Glen Conklin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Silva got free with Roberto Layton in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Augustin Amurăriței nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremy Nicholas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mo Qi Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. With an all-out effort, New England Minas's Roberto Layton threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tony Pacheco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. New England Minas's Alperen Öksüz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roberto Layton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Tingberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Jörgen Frohm went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 45th minute, Roman Major hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 53rd minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Layton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
