Encanto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avel Vat the free kick. The supporters of Avel Vat booed when Encanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Nugues took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Vianna. With his leg Manuel Vianna managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Avel Vat's Edmond Kubiak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 18 played minutes Encanto got a freekick which was hit by Nico Palmeira. Avel Vat's Danny Pasquier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Dante in the 24th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Edmond Kubiak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Encanto's Manuel Vianna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute of the match, Edmond Kubiak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Vianna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Avel Vat booed when Encanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerônimo Mendes was the one to do the kick off. If Edmond Kubiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Encanto's zone, Léonard Beuve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Vianna came out of the goal and Léonard Beuve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Nico Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Encanto's Reinaldo Dante got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Manuel Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léonard Beuve, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Avel Vat booed when Encanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danny Pasquier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Dante in the 71st minute. In the 84th minute of the match Marco Nugues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Vianna skillfully saved the ball.
