The QUASAR AZULGRANA fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when QUASAR AZULGRANA's Marco Federigo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Melquiades Laurgain advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-3 in the 31st minute. QUASAR AZULGRANA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sosoco FC the free kick. The supporters of Sosoco FC booed when QUASAR AZULGRANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enio Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Mannie Calle hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. One of QUASAR AZULGRANA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sosoco FC:s goal. Prospero Shepherd had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Delfim Guedes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Marco Federigo got free in front of the goal in the 66th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Giuseppe Barreto was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Humberto Gartxot fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Giuseppe Barreto, passed just outside the right post. After 70 minutes, Marco Federigo made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Sosoco FC's Giuseppe Barreto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Giuseppe Barreto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Justino Constancio. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Justino Constancio pulled a muscle in his back after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Didi Senna during the 76th minute. Marco Federigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. The audience was convinced that Marco Federigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giuseppe Barreto was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Caco Arruda's late challenge caught a QUASAR AZULGRANA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caco Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of QUASAR AZULGRANA booed when Sosoco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. QUASAR AZULGRANA played a much better game than Sosoco FC and deserved their victory. The Sosoco FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
